The Roadshow brought together over 200 participants, including data protection officers (DPOs) and compliance officers for privacy (COPs) from private and public institutions, to provide free and accessible training modules designed to strengthen the implementation of data privacy protection within their respective organizations.

In his opening remarks, Privacy Commissioner Atty. John Henry D. Naga commended the DP Council for the remarkable success of this year’s roadshows. He also expressed optimism about the initiative’s impact on raising awareness and compliance with data privacy regulations.

“The Data Privacy Training Roadshow 2024 exemplifies the shared vision of the NPC and the DP Council to promote data privacy awareness and capacity-building nationwide. This initiative reaffirms our dedication to empowering organizations to meet the evolving challenges of the digital age while safeguarding the data privacy of their data subjects,” Atty. Naga emphasized.
